Scatman Crothers compilation CD set?
Hi.    I'm new here, but I wanted to post an idea that Shout! Factory could make happen.  Shout! Factory is now selling the original Transformers cartoon on DVD.   Scatman Crothers was a voice actor on that show.   He voiced the Autobot named Jazz.  He was also quite the musician from what I've read, although today he is largely known for his film and television work.   I think it's time that changed.

Shout! Factory could release a CD set of the music of Scatman Crothers.  Whether or not it could be tied in with their Transformers DVDs is up to Shout! Factory.    If possible, I have a good title for the compilation.

Jazz by Jazz: The Music of Scatman Crothers.

Thank you.

RE: Scatman Crothers compilation CD set?
I was just thinking about Scatman yesterday, wondering why he was so completely on my radar as a kid in the 70s.  Yeah, he was the voice of HONG KONG PHOOEY, but it's not like I had an encyclopedic knowledge of voice actors when I was ten years old.  It must have been his guest appearances on CHICO AND THE MAN and his distinctive voice that made the connection for me.  He seemed like a very interesting guy.  I would be curious to hear his music.
